A lot of people also know the Johan Cruyff Foundation. But not all the impact the foundation has, so they needed a promotional video.

Van Gogh Museum – Seeing with a Japanese eye

The Van Gogh Museum wanted to have an educational animation made for the exhibition ‘Seeing with a Japanese eye‘.

The aim of the explainer video was to train the visitor to look with a Japanese eye  – just like Van Gogh. This increased the average viewing time for the real paintings.

Fun fact: together with educator Jolein van Kregten, our animation agency won an award with this animation film at the Museum in Short festival.

Method and costs of 2D animation

How much does a 2D explainer cost? This is a question we hear often, of course. There are many possibilities: you can create a very simple 2D animation, or a very dynamic one.   • A basic 1-minute 2D animation costs €3,000, an advanced 2D animation costs €5,000, and a pro 2D animation costs €7,000. For every 15 seconds of additional animation, you can expect to pay an extra €500-1,000, depending on the type of animation.

  • The ideal time frame is 6-8 weeks, but we have also done urgent projects in 2-3 weeks. When we do an urgent project, there is automatically less time for consultation and coordination. That is why we often opt for 6-8 weeks. It is important that you enter into an assignment together with a realistic schedule.
